Module 4 DQ1 The Purpose and Value of the PSA
Through pictures at various points in the lives of these women you see what the cummulative effects of continued drug use can do. I was quite aware that drug use was bad for you mentally,and physically,but this certainly drives the point home for me. The music "On the Slow Train" is the perfect soundtrack to include with these pictures.
This PSA made me think about all of the other seemingly small changes we cause in ourselves. We do seemingly innocuous things such as overeating, not exercising and we stop reading books for pleasure, and this too has an effect on us. What if we could see plaque building up, or your creativity and pleasure areas of the brain slowly shutting off through a series of pictures. The PSA below shows the effects of drugs, and that's not an issue for me, but it really made me stop and think about what I could do in other areas of my life that are taking a toll me.
